It is more important than ever to call on the federal government to fulfill promises made long ago to fully fund Title I and IDEA. It is equally important to call on our state legislators to provide adequate and equitable state funding. By having Senators, Members of Congress, and school boards across the country pass resolutions supporting these efforts, we can galvanize this moment to shed light on the critical funding needs in our public schools. This is taxation without representation. The superintendent and board are attempting to take a critical step for the district without consulting and informing stakeholders. 

The goal for leaders is to totally defund and dismantle public education.in full.  This can not happen. Authoritarians must be stopped. Billionaires must be stopped.
