Public School Strong Grand Ledge

Public School Strong Grand Ledge is a team of parents, students, educators, and community members who believe every child in our district deserves a strong, honest, and fully funded public education. We’re proud to stand together for the future of Grand Ledge Public Schools — focused on protecting essential services like student mental health support, ensuring that every dollar from local millages is used responsibly, and fighting for fair access to advanced coursework and meaningful opportunities for all students. Right now, our schools are facing real threats. Federal budget cuts could strip away critical funding that Grand Ledge depends on funding that supports everything from special education to after-school programs to basic classroom resources. These cuts would hurt students across Michigan, and Grand Ledge is no exception. At the same time, our district is working hard to meet ambitious strategic goals like expanding career and technical education, creating safe and welcoming schools, and strengthening community partnerships. We can’t let these goals slip away because of outside decisions we didn’t have a voice in. That’s where we come in. As Public School Strong Grand Ledge, we show up at school board meetings, in conversations with neighbors, and at community events to make our movement visible and our values heard. We believe public schools belong to all of us, and together, we’re building a future where every student has the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
