Public School Strong and Families for Strong Public Schools Florida are united in one mission:
to protect, strengthen, and uplift public education for every child.

This Zoom session will help us:

  • Meet one another and build community

  • Share updates about statewide and local public school advocacy

  • Learn how families, teachers, and community members can get involved

  • Hear about upcoming Leon County chapter events and initiatives

Meet Our Organizer: Lyrric

Lyrric brings powerful experience and a proven track record in community organizing and public school advocacy.

She has worked with  Public School Strong in Person County, where her efforts helped elevate parent voices, strengthen school‑community relationships, and support families facing educational challenges.

Her advocacy contributed to a major win:
the state released over $100,000 in childcare funding for Person County families.  Implemented ICE-in-schools precautions and began a anti drug anti bullying campaign.

This work reflects her commitment to ensuring children have safe, supportive, and well‑resourced environments — both in schools and in childcare settings.

Now, she is bringing that same energy, structure, and community‑centered leadership to Leon County.
