Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past is excited to participate in the Zinn Education Project’s 5th Annual Teach Truth Days of Action for a national day of action with actions all year long. #TeachTruth.
Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past is hosting a #TeachTruth History Walking Tour in Salem starting at Pavilion 8 in Waterworth Memorial Park, June 28, 11:00 am.
We will begin at Pavilion 8 near the ball fields and Hope Cemetery. (Entrance off of Superior.) Our walk will take us past Edwin Coppock's Memorial, Marius and Emily Robinson's home, the St. John AME Church, George Lucas's home and end at the Abraham Lincoln Statue. Hear from local educators and The Salem Historical Society as we explore marked and unmarked history.
