September Surge: McMinn Co. School Board Turnout

What do we want? Schools that are fully-funded, well-resourced, vibrant, safe, equitable, honest and inclusive. Is it possible? Yes. 

That is why PSS McMinn is participating in Public School Strong TN’s September Surge for Public Schools. When schools are back in session, public school parents and supporters all over Tennessee will SURGE to school board meetings wearing our matching “Public School Strong” shirts and making public comments naming the current crossroads we are at, sharing our stories, and standing up for equitable, safe, and fully-funded public education.

Speakers can sign up to speak by emailing the superintendent 7 days prior to the meeting or can speak on-agenda at the 9/12 general meeting (5:30). Speaking is not required for turnout, but if you would like to be a speaker or join the team contact [email protected]!
