Orwell: 2+2=5 is screening at Esquire Theatre

Logline: Through his 20th century writings, George Orwell foretold an authoritarian future. Orwell: 2+2=5 combines archival material and contemporary news footage to explore his life and the ways in which his work reflects the rise of totalitarianism in today's world.

Directed by Raoul Peck, Academy Award-nominated director of I Am Not Your Negro, this film brings Orwell’s insights into today’s political and social climate. This film, and Orwell, could not be more relevant.
