May Day Text Bank for Education Justice

Join us this May Day to take action against the federal school voucher bills, known as the Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA). We’ll gather on Zoom at 6 PM EDT on Thursday, May 1st, to mobilize KFTC members throughout Kentucky. Together, we will urge them to contact their Congressperson and voice their opposition to ECCA. Before we dive into texting, we’ll provide an overview of ECCA and offer a brief training on effective text banking techniques. Then, we’ll put our plans into action by reaching out to fellow KFTC members. To wrap up, we will hold a debrief to discuss our efforts and outline the necessary next steps.
