Hey Young World BACK TO SCHOOL Giveaway 26/27

This year's theme is Hey Young World as we aim to reach the young crowd and speak to them about livelihood and having a safe life. We want to talk to them about forms of abuse including substance abuse We want to speak with them about trafficking and dating. We will continue to push our anti-bullying and anti drug and antigang campaigns. We want to make sure that every child leaves there with either tutoring or mentorship. We will have agencies there they work within the school systems to also meet the parents and possibly address any pre-existing issues for the school year upcoming. Last year we focused on health and community connections this year we're focusing on education and literacy. 

This would be our second Back to School supply giveaway. We ask everyone to support at least one child with a backpack, each backpack is filled with supplies that the child will need to start school off fresh. Each donation or sponsorship would be $20 per child. We will serve children Kindergarten through 12th grade in-Person County. The Public assistance is greatly needed as these schools do not have proper supplies throughout the school year it is  very necessary for the children to at least start off with their own supplies. Another group that we work with has agreed to assist the schools will supplies on a semi-monthly basis or as requested therefore throughout the year we will try and keep up and make sure the children will continue to have what they need. Markers do dry out and crayons do break therefore having extra of these would be awesome. Persons that want to make donations of items or supplies feel free to contact us reach out and let us know You won't be counted out your definitely be counted in. We want to thank you all so much for all of your help and for what you all are doing for Person County Schools and the children and families they serve We are going to continue to fight for public education free education free lunch programs free services for the students We want to make sure that these kids grow up get secondary education become stable and successful. 

Donations $20/child gets backpack, and school supplies grade appropriate.

All monetary donations due by July 1 for ordering and delivery timeframe. 

All other donations due by Aug 1.

We do not have a goal of number of children we want to serve We just want to serve as many as we can.  Last year we served 198 persons. 

If you are a company or a group feel free to sponsor as a group. We will list every sponsor unless you ask to not be listed. 

These children will know who supported them and who cares. This list will continue to grow and they will continue to know how many people care.

Hygiene products t-shirts underwear socks hats mittens gloves as at this time of the year it will begin to be Fall and then Winter. 

Any used or old clothing you would like to donate last year we had a table and the people was able to pick through and get some of those clothing and shoes that was donated. 

Any books that you would like to donate We also had a table last year and the children were able to get books as well as some adults those that were left over were donated to the Person County Library.
